The Founding Partners, Mr. Mohamed ElGebaly And Mr. Hemdan
ElGebaly Began Working In The Agricultural Business In 1996 When
They Formed "ElGebaly For Food Industries" In New Salheya City,
Just Outside Cairo, Egypt.
This Company Was Initially Responsible for the Grading, Sorting,
Packing and Exporting Fresh Citrus Fruits to Countries Mainly in
Europe and the Middle East at that time it Employed around 25
Permanent Staff and up To 300 Seasonal Workers.
Then on 20/10/2002 the owners Formed "ElGebaly Fruit Company"
"an extension of the ElGebaly for Food Industries" according to Law
08/1997 with a paid capital of EGP 190 Million and A Citrus Packing
House equipped with advanced Sorting Machines and seasonal capacity
of 144,000 MT of Finished ready-for-export Citrus Product and
adopting a new strategy approach towards substantially Improvement
to the quality and exportability that could make better use of its
potentials within the Fruit Export Industry.
With A Brand Which Continues to Be Highly Regarded for Its
Reputation in The International Markets for Quality; the company
ranks the first among Egyptian Citrus Exporters for the last 6
years according to the report issued by Egyptian Ministry of Trade
and Industry, and the General Organization for Export/Import
Control (GOEIC) with a current 10.35% Market Share.
Over A Decade since Establishment Currently ElGebaly Fruit
employs over 300 Permanent Staff and 1200 Seasonal Workers within
its packing facility only.

certification that the company acquired to meet its clients
requirements and expectations while supplying safe agricultural
products.
The company is constantly working on developing its fruits
production process and techniques and planning to keep investing in
advancing its production lines either by increasing the number of
lines or increasing the efficiency and capacity to meet company's
objective.
